A Special Visit to Freiburg University Hospital

This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to visit Freiburg University Hospital – a moment that was truly close to my heart. As part of my role as an ambassador for the Matthias Ginter Foundation, I helped hand over emergency boxes for children with chronic illnesses.

One of the most touching moments was meeting Leon (11), who lives with Addison’s disease, a form of kidney insufficiency. Despite his condition, he radiated so much strength and positivity – it was incredibly moving and inspiring to meet him.

I’m very thankful to work together with the Matthias Ginter Foundation and to have the chance to give back and support children who are facing tough challenges in their lives.

Encounters like this remind me how important it is to take responsibility beyond the football pitch – and to offer hope where it’s most needed.

Yours, Klara ❤️
